Not the original Bookworm blog. The thediaryofabookworm.com domain previously hosted a personal book-review blog started around 2010 by a single first-person blogger. The original blog ceased before the domain lapsed in 2026. The current editorial publication is a separate team that acquired the lapsed domain; we are NOT the original blogger, not authorized to speak for that person, and not a continuation of their first-person voice.
The Diary of a Bookworm is an editorial book-review site covering YA, fantasy, literary fiction, and occasional crime. The editorial team reads widely and reviews books that stick with them.
What I cover: Young adult fiction, fantasy (YA and adult), literary fiction, occasional crime. I read widely and review what sticks with me.
What I don’t do: Sponsored reviews or paid placements. Every review on this site represents a genuine reading experience.
If a book made me think, made me angry, made me stay up past midnight, or made me feel like a different person on the other side of it — that’s what this site is about.
About the Editorial Team
The editorial team comprises reviewers covering YA fiction, fantasy (YA and adult), literary fiction, and occasional crime — with attention to debut novels, underrepresented voices, and books that resist easy categorization.
